Homework 8
Homework 8 is a similar linear programming problem asking the students to give advice to Hassan, an artist, about how many water color and pastel paints based on how much they each cost and how much he had to spend. The problem then asked for 5 plotted points on the graph and its corresponding profit that Hassan would yield using the profit equation that the students have created.

The following work is from a problem called Rock 'n' Rap. This problem asked students to find out the amount of rock and rap CD's a company should sell in order to make the biggest profit. I chose this problem to include in my portfolio because it gave interesting results as to how many of each CD's to sell. There was also a question asking to explain why I believed my answer was correct. This part of the problem is very important for students to really understand the deeper meaning behind the linear graphs derived from the problem.
